Meet Traci · Founder and host

A personal way
into France.

French Detours grew from years of returning to France and learning that the most memorable experiences rarely begin with a list of sights. They begin with a person, a conversation or an invitation to look more closely.

Traci personally develops each journey around the people and places that give a region its character. She meets the hosts, winemakers, cooks, makers and guides before introducing them to her travelers, choosing depth over volume and relationships over itineraries.

She also travels with every group—holding the details, noticing individual needs and adjusting the pace when the moment calls for it. From the first conversation through the return home, the experience remains personal.

How I choose
Every region and partner is experienced personally first.
How I host
Depth over volume. Presence over pace. Care throughout.
How we begin
With a conversation, before anything else.

Could this journey
be for you?

Every French Detours experience begins with a conversation. Tell Traci what draws you to France, what you hope to experience, and how you want the journey to feel.
